The influence of gaming on children

The influence of gaming on children

Gaming can be fun and educational for children. But sometimes they game too much or become addicted to it. As a parent, it is important that you look carefully at how much your child is gaming, what games they are playing and whether they are doing other things online. Also good to check if your child has other interests and social contacts outside of gaming.

What can you do?

What can you do?

Ask your network

Talk to other parents. Ask how they handle gaming in their families. Maybe they have helpful tips on rule-making or what games are good for kids.

Provide variety and make arrangements

Agree with your child which games they can play and how long they can game. Also plan time for other things, such as playing outside, playing sports, reading or doing something together with the family. This will keep gaming fun and healthy.

Game behavior

On the platform GAMENINFO you will find a lot of information about gaming in children. You can also read there what you can do if you are concerned.
