Raising my child

Parenting is sometimes quite difficult. Various parenting questions can arise. Think of questions about your approach and role as a parent, your child's behavior or development.

What can you do?
What can you do?
Conversation with your network
Engage in conversation with those around you, such as family, friends or other parents. You may recognize things in their stories. This can help and reassure you. They can also sometimes share inspirational resources, book tips or podcasts. There is a lot out there about parenting because almost every parent struggles with this at one time or another.
Involve the school or shelter
Talk to the school or daycare if you have questions about your child's behavior or development. They also see your child much of the week and can think along with you. Perhaps they recognize the concerns or can reassure you and give tips that work well at school or daycare.
Exercise and activities
Go for a walk together, play sports or do something fun. This is a casual way to connect with your child. This makes the bond with your child stronger and helps combat stress.
