I am worried about someone

I am worried about someone

Sometimes you notice that someone close to you is not doing well. A classmate who has become quiet. A friend who behaves differently. Or a sibling who experiences a lot of tension at home. Maybe you don't know exactly what's going on, but your gut tells you: something isn't right. It is important that you notice this. And even stronger if you do something about it.

What can you do?

What can you do?

Having doubts? Follow your gut

Are you thinking, "Should I do something with this?" Then the answer is usually: yes. You can always callSafe Homefor advice. This is allowed anonymously and is free. You're not tied to anything. Call: 0800-2000. Is there immediate danger? Then call112.

Talk to someone you trust

You don't have to be an expert to do something. Just saying what you see or feel can mean a lot. Talk to someone you trust: a parent, mentor, teacher or someone close to you. Together you can figure out what a good step is.

What do we do?

What do we do?

Don't know what to do with your concerns? Then you can turn to the Social Team Houten. We think along with you. You don't have to know or solve it on your own. For some forms of help we need permission. But you can always come to us for advice, a listening ear or a quick consultation.
