Not having a roof over your head, or being in danger of losing your home, is drastic. It can happen to anyone. For example, through divorce, job loss or the termination of a lease.

City Team Backup
City Team Backup helps people without a place to live or at risk of becoming homeless. You can go there for 24-hour shelter and day care, medical assistance and food, a letter address, support with money matters or a regular contact person who thinks with you.
Under the Pans
Have you lost your home or are in an unsafe home situation? Under the Pans arranges temporary accommodation in someone's home (hospice rental). This is especially for people who do not have a home for a while due to circumstances.
Rooms with Attention
Are you between the ages of 18 and 23 and receiving guidance from (youth) care? Then, via Kamers met Aandacht, you can live with people who want to share their home and attention.
A safe place where you can grow with a little support.
What can you do yourself in case of emergency?
Need housing now? You can try this yourself:
- Put out a call on social media (Facebook, X)
- Tell your network you are looking for housing
- Ask if you can stay with someone temporarily
- Hang notices at supermarkets or community centers
- Place or view ads in newspapers or on Marketplace
- Use websites such as kamernet.co.uk
Applying for a residence permit
In some situations, you may be given priority when looking for social housing. For example, in the case of imminent homelessness, medical problems or an unsafe home situation. If you meet the conditions, you can residence permit applications.
