I have a question about online bullying or abuse
Online bullying and abuse are more common than you think. Maybe you get nasty messages, gossip is spread in group apps, you see someone sharing photos without permission, or you are excluded on social media. That hurts. And you don't have to bear it alone. Everyone has a right to safety - including online.
What can you do?
What can you do?
Talk about it
It's exciting to talk about online bullying or abuse. But it does help. Talk to someone you trust, such as a friend, parent, mentor or someone at school. Sharing your story is the first step.
Bullied or harassed online?
AtProudyou can chat anonymously with people who understand what you are going through. They listen without judgment. They help you move forward.
Keep proof
Are you being bullied or abused online? If so, take screenshots or save messages. You don't have to take action right away, but this evidence can help later if you decide to seek help or file a report.
Block and report
You may block people who harass you. That's not childish - that's setting boundaries. On platforms like Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat, you can also report bullying or abuse.
Don't be ashamed
What you are experiencing is not your fault. Bullies or people who cross your boundaries are doing something that is not okay. You deserve respect, just like everyone else.
Do you feel rotten, helpless or gloomy?
Online bullying or abuse can affect you greatly. You may feel angry, sad or alone. You can always talk to someone.
